This is a really nice app in some ways. It offers crosswords in English and in French in three levels of difficulty, with the option of downloading new collections of crosswords via in-app purchases. Unfortunately, a bug which causes the app to crash on certain wifi networks makes it very annoying to use (you have to turn wifi off on some networks with strong encryption). I hope this could be fixed sometime. In addition to that, the crosswords one can buy havent been updated for some months, leading me to the assumption that this app is no longer supported. Id recommend this app if new crosswords were to be released and if the wifi bug were fixed. As it is, my recommendation is to steer clear.

I bought this game and was thrilled at first until I started having a recurring application error. I sent two emails, no response not even an acknowledgement of receipt. Je suis decu car lapplication est belle et bien code... mais le support technique est inexistant.

Yup, the whole thing is French, no god to those who dont speak the language.

I prefer these to crosswords - the app is smooth to use and looks great! look forward to new puzzles each month.

I have purchased a lot of word games for the IPOD Touch and the IPAD. This is one of the best. It was very well designed and programmed. My only question is how to download new puzzles. I am doing February puzzles but the sample here shows March.

This is a very nicely designed crossword type word game thats especially well suited for the iPad. I love it. How do I get additional puzzles??

If you enjoy crosswords and other word puzzles, you will like this game, too! But, how does one get more puzzles like the ones shown here in the screenshots dated March (the ones in the game are all dated February).

I love the game but havent been able to get new puzzles. Nothing on the developer web site says anything either. Its frustrating. This would get 5 stars otherwise.

Although the description claims there are downloadable monthly puzzles, there arent. Todays update adds a store that allows you to buy puzzles. I took the bait, entered my password and paid the money and the puzzles didnt download.

I wouldnt mind paying a flat rate for the app, but Im not paying every time i need new puzzles, which would be almost monthly in my case.

Excellent variation on the crossword puzzle concept. Since the word clues are actually embedded in the puzzle itself, its easier to keep solving without referencing the separate across/down clue lists. We just need more puzzles available, please.

Didnt care too much for game. Concept good. I couldnt tap on to any of the cells in order to play the game.

Took a short while to get used to the format, but I love that you know right away whether or not you are on the right track. I do have to remind myself from time to time that these are British and think of the British twist on words, but Ive read enough British murder mysteries that thats not a problem. Theyve worked perfectly on my iPad, so I dont know why the previous reviewer had problems. And I LOVE the applause you get when you finish. Silly, I know, but I do. My only complaint is that IM ALMOST OUT OF PUZZLES. Cmon, Ill buy more, just put them up. Please. Not nice to hook me then leave me hanging.

I have downloaded this game twice and cannot get it to play!

I got this app and used it for about 6 months, then the problems started. Never received a fix, so I deleted it!!!!

This is probably better than a two-star app, but the update changed the language to French.

After an update, only the French language version will install.

Not happy!!

After os upgrade only comes up in French. Very unhappy! Great word puzzle when working In English.
